"Newton Vineyard Skyside Cabernet Sauvignon offers lively character and harmonious balance derived from meticulous approach top winemaking. Sourced from Sonoma county vineyards, these wines are made in the Newton style to showcase the purity of fruit. The Cabernet used in our Skyside comes from high-density hillside vineyards in Sonoma’s, Alexander Valley and Chalk Hill wine growing districts. Merlot from the bench lands od Knight’s Valley add roundness while Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and small amount of Carignan add spice. The Skyside Cabernet Sauvignon is a very bold wine with black currant and blackberry on the nose with notes of tar and oak. The palate is broad with layers of spicy dark cherry and blue fruit wrapped in a supple texture.
